Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs

The plotline of Saber Rider was set in the extraterrestrial New Frontier, an untamed land where the law was in the hands of the Star Sheriffs, headquartered at space station "Cavalry Command." The characters were aristocratic, blond Saber Rider, whose personal mecha suit made him look like a robotic Royal Hussar from The Charge of the Light Brigade; laid-back teenage cowboy Colt, who sported a 10-gallon hat and a six-shooter; April, the blonde, teenage team member who spent most of her time mooning over the boys; and Fireball, the daredevil (and obviously Japanese) race car driver.

Saiyuki

This anime is based on the a well known story in China, Japan, Korea and Taiwan about a real journey of one buddhist monk Genjo Sanzo (AD 629) who travelled from China to India.

The story preludes the chaos that begins in Togenkyo which is the holy land where humans and demons used to live together peacefully and got along well. However after the attempt of someone to use the art of chemical and magic together from the ancient scripture to return life to Gyumao, the super demon, one of the five gods who rule the heaven.

Genjo Sanzo, a sanzoboshi which is the highest rank of the monk, is called to Shayou Choan Palace. He is assigned to go to the west land where the chaos begins to find out who is behind all the turmoil that is rising and to stop its process. Son Goku, Sha Gojyo, and Cho Hakkai are assigned to join him. Sanzo didn`t agree to take them along at first because the three are demons, although each of them has part of human that sustains their sanity.

Sekai turns and wishes Makoto well on his date.

Based on a manga series authored by Yoshino Hiroyuki and featuring art by Kenetsu Satou. The manga is serialised in the shounen manga magazine Champion Red.

The story takes place on the grounds of St. Mihailov Academy, a Japanese Eastern Orthodox school, and draws heavily on religious references from the aforementioned religion. Here it follows the trials and hardship of two of its students, Oribe Mafuyu and Tomo Yamanobe, until the encounter with a mysterious, silver-haired, Russian boy named Alexander, or Sasha for short. This pits them and the whole school in an all-out war between the Church itself and the so-called "Adepts", a sect of individuals wielding powers linked to the elements of chemistry.

Shinzo

Shion no Ou

Based on a seinen manga by Katori Masaru, serialised in Afternoon.

Shion no Ou tells the story of a young girl by the name of Ishiwatari Shion . At the age of 4, Shion`s parents were murdered at their house. The police didn`t find anything at the crime scene that might lead them to the murderer apart from a shougi board upon which the pieces were lined up in an orderly fashion. Shion was not harmed even though she was at the house at the time of the murder but the shock of seeing her parents lying dead in a pool of blood resulted in the loss of her voice. The Ishiwatari neighbours and close friends, the Yasuoka family (made up of Yasuoka Shinji and his wife Sachiko) adopted Shion after the murder and raised her as their own daughter and so she was renamed Yasuoka Shion since then. Shinji is a professional Shogi player and during the years that passed after the murder, he taught Shion how to play shogi. Shion was a natural at playing shogi. She learned the game very quickly and mastered it at an early age. She rose quickly in the ranks of the game and became a genius professional player just like her new father. The story is about Shion`s life 8 years after the murder and how her chosen path as a professional shogi player might one day lead to finding her parents` murderer.

Sister Princess

Based on the story serialized in G`s Magazine since March 1999, Sister Princess made its way into anime and Playstation game. Space Adventure Cobra

SPT Layzner

The year is 1996. Mankind has reached a technological level where they can build bases on Mars.
However, the arms race between the two superpowers, the United States and the Soviet Union, has extended to the moon and Mars.
At the base, 16 boys and girls, led by Elizabeth, the instructor, have just arrived as the first members of the "Cosmic Culture Club," organized by the United Nations Space Headquarters, and are being welcomed by the staff.
Suddenly, four unidentified combat weapons (huge rockets) appeared near the base, exchanging fires. They are the S.P.T. Layzner piloted by Eiji and other S.P.T.s of the chasing unit headed by Gale and others. Involved in the fierce battle, the base gets destroyed in a matter of minutes by flying beams. Only six members of the "Culture Club"--Elizabeth, Arthur, Roanne, David, Simone and Anna--survive.
When Eiji, who has smashed the enemy, comes back and gets out of the Layzner, telling them, "Earth is at stake..."

But he was so surprised to see the girl`s photo, which was given to him by Sister Akane. He had witnessed the girl named Merina Scaphisi only a few hours ago in the forest on his way to St. Luminous.

Star Knight Tekkaman Blade

Uchu no Kishi Tekkaman Blade (Space Knight Tekkaman Blade) debuted on Japanese TV in 1992. It is a futuristic anime and has a sequel entitled Tekkaman Blade II. It was shown in the US in dubbed form (and incredibly cut) by Saban, but cancelled mid-way.

Bug-like aliens attack Earth in an attempt to make it a home for their alien biology. The Earth`s defences include a space station that forms a continuous ring about the planet, and a process that turns the body of the hero, D-Boy, into a space-going battle robot. Most battles take place just outside the annular space station.

Starship Operators

The story is set in AD 2300, thousands of light-years from earth in the vicinity of the Henrietta system, where there are entire warring planets. A planet gets taken over by a military coup d`etat, and a group of trainees on board a newly commissioned starship (the Amaterasu) returning from a training mission, get stranded outside their homeworld, and resolve to liberate it. Unfortunately they don`t quite have the money to pay for operation and provision expenses, so in return for funds from the alliance `Galactic Network`, they sell the TV rights for their battles to be aired on an exclusive TV channel (the Starship Channel or S.S.C), which is broadcasted across the entire system. They end up periodically resorting to unusual measures to boost their channel ratings -- sort of like Sakura Taisen in space.

OP/ED by Mami Kawada and Kotoko, that are incidentally the same artists who contributed the theme songs for Onegai Teacher. This will be Kotoko`s latest theme song following her excellent tracks for Kannazuki no Miko.

Starvengers

The story take place just after the end of Getter Robo when the empire of the Oni, some sort of demons in the japanese mythology, wipes out the enemies of the first series: the dinosaurs. The primary goals of the oni`s empire, whose leader is the emperor Brai, it`s to take over the world and the getter rays technology. Dr. Saotome builds a new Getter Robo, the Getter Robo G, that is much stronger than the first one and still composed by three getter-machines: Dragon, the red one, Ryger, the blue one (instead of the white one of the first series) and Poseidon, the yellow one. The Getter`s pilots are the same except for the third getter-machine where Benkei has replaced Musashi.

Strain: Strategic Armored Infantry

In the distant future, mankind is divided into two powers; Union and Deague. They have continued a war so long that no one is sure when it began. Union uses manned weapons, Strain is the main military power, while Deague uses unmanned weapons Tumoru.

Sara Viereck, a daughter of a good family, is a Union’s 16-year-old girl who goes to Grapera Space Armed Soldier Academy located in Cranial Solar System in order to become a full-fledged Reasoner (a pilot of Strain).

Her brother, Ralph Viereck, was sent to the front line 130 light years away to accomplish a special mission when she was 11 years old. It takes 400 years of objective time even by the fastest sub-light speed space craft of Union to travel that distance. However, according to relativistic theory, it corresponds to two subjective years (the time crews experiences). Therefore, Sara needs to go to the same battle field to meet her brother.

Because they lost their parents when they were quite young, Sara thinks of her bother as a guy dearer than a sibling, and she lives for their reunion.

One day, the planet Sara lives is suddenly assaulted by Deague. Surprisingly, it was her brother Ralph that takes away a mysterious girl sleeping in a capsule.

To search for the truth, Sara gets in Strain and runs after him. However, she receives an attack from Ralph, and the Mimic is broken. The Mimic is a copy of the pilot’s brain, and it is an essential part to control the Strain.

Stratos 4

The Earth has a defense system against large meteorites that are in collision course to it. This protection system has the Comet Blasters based in space stations as a 1st line of defense, using nuclear warheads lauched by spaceships. Fumiya "Fu-min" Okometsubu is an exchange student who comes to a Wakame Highschool in his Junior year. Next is Machahiko Kondo, a nice, honest boy who has this "thing" for being as manly as possible. After that, they run into Tsuyoshi Isobe, a boy who wants to be the strongest person in the world, and who isn`t dissuaded by the fact that his body is built like balsa wood (his nickname is "Kyasharin", which basically means "living bones"). Super Dimensional Cavalry Southern Cross

In the future, humanity has moved out of the solar system and started to colonize planets far away from Earth. One of the farthest colonies in existence is the planet Glorie, on the very edge of explored space. The main military forces protecting the colonists of Glorie from the unknown are the Armies of the Southern Cross.

However, unknown to the human colonists, Glorie is the ancestral home of the Zor, a race of highly advanced humanoids that have been wandering the galaxy for the past few centuries. Although the Zor abandoned their homeworld ages ago, they have now returned with what remains of their fleet to reclaim their planet. Unfortunately, the humans have already made Glorie their new home and refuse to leave it. Since Glorie does not have a large enough food supply to support the humans and the Zor together, they declare war on each other for sole possession of the planet. The resulting war for Glorie basically makes up the Southern Cross TV series. The events focus on Jeanne Francaix (Dana Sterling), the young and inexperienced leader of the 15th ATAC. Jeanne struggles to change her band of misfits and drop-outs into a skilled fighting force, and largely succeeds in turning the 15th ATAC into an elite unit by the end of the war. During the battles Jeanne also grows and matures from a headstrong girl into an experienced woman.

Robotech Masters is the butchered US version of Southern Cross done by Harmony Gold. It was dubbed, heavily edited and the plot was completely rewritten.
Aside from the very first episode of Robotech Masters (Episode 37 of Robotech global) the actual episodecount remained, as did the rough episodestructure. Episode 37 was cut together from bits of Macross and southern cross to fill the gap of inconsistences.
