.hack//Legend of the Twilight

The story revolves around a network game called "The World". It takes place four years after the "Twilight" incident (from the PS2 game), which not only shook the game world, but also the real world.

CyberConnect Corporation (CC Corporation), the creator and operator of The World, held a "Limited Edition Character" campaign for The World players and participants. The prize of the campaign is the Limited Edition Character itself: the legendary "Kite" and "Black Rose" from the ".hackers" data that was prohibited since the Twilight incident.

A pair of twin brother and sister in 2nd year junior high, Shuugo (the elder brother), and Rena (the younger sister), successfully obtained the Legendary Characters from the campaign. Shuugo who wanted to quit playing the network game, once again had to set foot into The World under his sister invitation.

In the game world, Shuugo and Rena met other players, Mileyu and Houka and they quickly became close friends after several events and encounters. However, the seemingly peaceful game world began to meet with many weird changes resembled to the incident four years ago. But this time, Shuugo, Rina and their new friends are involved in it...

He suddenly awakens to find himself in `The World`, being able to feel, smell, touch, see and hear everything as if he was really there. He attempts to logout but fails to do so. Being unable to remember what has happened before he awoke, he wanders around aimlessly to find answers. While doing so, system moderators, the Scarlet Knights, suspect that he has been working with hackers, because of the tweaked character he was with. Tsukasa finds a magical item, that grants him the power to use this fearful `Guardian` that will protect him from harm.

Aozora Shoujotai (Blue Sky Squadron) is a story about Isurugi Takuya, a service technician with the 801 TTS (tactical training squadron). When he went upstairs and opened a door, Haneda Miyuki`s room, where Miyuki was just getting dressed. Then he ran into Mitaka Arisa, who was taking a shower. Arisa and Miyuki quickly pounded on Takuya.

The 801 TTS was an all female acrobatic pilot team. When Takuya heard that he was very excited. But all of it was just a farce. The 801 TTS was where all of the trouble makers were sent. Haneda Miyuki had hit her superior officer in her previous squardon. Mitaka Arisa was always getting into fights. Saginomiya Sakura was a gambler. Shimorenjaku Yoko was a very bad pilot. This story is working out to be very cute. Kippei`s natural "mother" instinct is really brought to the front while trying to to his best for Yuzuyu, but he is a boy. His ineptitude regarding the smallest things a mother would need to know [like packing a lunch for school] are endearing rather than hokey, and the character of Yuzuyu is cute, without being overly so.

Hell Screen (Jigoku Hen) - A famous artist is commissioned by a great lord to create a series of paintings depicting scenes of the `Buddhist Hell`. The artist is unable to paint scenes that he has not seen himself, prompting him to torture and torment the Lord`s staff to create his imagined images of hell. His creative efforts taint the household, as the story descends into madness and destruction.

Kokoro - A 1914 tale of a young man`s life journey during the Meiji era. The work deals with the transition from the Japanese Meiji society to the modern era, by exploring the friendship between a young man and an older man he calls "Sensei". It continues the theme of isolation developed in Soseki`s previous works, here in the context of interwoven strands of egoism and guilt, as opposed to shame

The Spider`s Thread (Kumo no Ito) - The Buddha Shakyamuni chances to notice a cold-hearted criminal suffering in Hell. But this criminal did perform one single act of kindness in not stepping on a spider in a forest. Moved by this selfless act, Shakyamuni takes the silvery thread of a spider in Paradise and lowers it down into Hell, but it falls upon the criminal to seize the opportunity and pull himself out - if he can.

Arjuna

Armitage III

Ross Syllabus is a Chicago cop who lost his partner in a battle with a cyborg. He`s just been transferred to Mars as an expert on robots, but before he`s even left the spaceport he spots a group of suspicious people who turn out to be a madman with cyborg bodyguards. With the help of his soon-to-be partner waiting in the terminal, Naomi Armitage, he stops the cyborgs, but their leader escapes. The plot thickens when they find that the group was carrying the body of a robot who was impersonating a popular country singer. At the MPD office, Ross and Armitage are paired up in the investigation of this unusual crime. As it turns out, someone is murdering robots--rare and illegal Third Types, nearly indistinguishable from humans--who had been living undetected as humans. Ross is already uncomfortable with the investigation, and when he finds out Armitage herself is a Third, he doesn`t know what to make of the situation. Matters are further complicated when he is severely injured in a confrontation with the murder, and has to have large parts of his own body replaced with cybernetics. All the while, the threat of war with Earth looms overhead, and these crimes appear to be related somehow. Armitage becomes a wanted robot, and Ross must choose between her and his prejudices.

Asatte no Houkou

Asatte no Houkou follows the lives of Karada Iokawa, a young girl who is set to join junior high school after summer is over, and Sh&#333;ko Nogami, a young woman who has just returned from studying abroad, who also happens to be the former girlfriend of Karada's older brother. The day Sh&#333;ko returns, she is dragged by Karada to the beach with her brother and a couple of their friends since she used to know Karada's brother Hiro several years before. After becoming irritated with Hiro for leaving her alone in the United States, she purposefully tells Karada that her ribbons are childish. This upset her greatly because she doesn't like to be treated as a child. Later that same day, Karada is found by Sh&#333;ko praying at a shrine, wishing to become older. Amazingly, Karada's wish becomes true and she instantly transforms into a young woman. Incidentally, Sh&#333;ko then has her adulthood taken away from her and she reverts back to about eleven years old.

Astro Boy

Astro Boy was created by Doctor Boyton when his son Toby died in a car accident. Astro is an exact match for Toby. And was origionally called Toby by his "father".

When Astro was first built, Doctor Boyton wanted to keep him a secret. But people eventually found about him and he became a hero.

Astro was seperated from his father during a cruise. Astro saved the ship from some ice burgs, when he returned, his father had disappeared. Astro was tricked into signing himself over to a robot circus. It was in the robot circus that he met Kathy, who gave Astro his name; Astro Boy.

After the Robot Circus, Astro was taken back to Japan by Doctor Elefan, a scientist who had recently been apointed head of the Ministry of Science.

Astro went to school and eventually, Doctor Elefan built parents for Astro. Astro now lives with them and his dog, Jump.

Later, Doctor Elefan built a sister for Astro and called her Uran. Uran is a very mischevious girl and often gets herself and Astro into a lot of trouble.

Aura Battler Dunbine

Aura Battler Dunbine first aired on Japanese TV during the mid-1980s and ran for a successful 49 episodes. Written by Yoshiyuki Tomino, Dunbine is set in the medival-like world of Byston Well. Dunbine was one of the first Japanimation series to combine fantasy and science fiction. The main draw to the series were the insect-like Aura Battlers used by the population of Byston Well to fight their wars.
The series followed a main character named Sho Zama, the pilot of the lavender colored Dunbine, as he suddenly finds himself in the world of Byston Well after a motocross accident. Byston Well is located in another dimension located between the sea and the land, and is populated with dragons, castles, knights, and powerful robots known as Aura Battlers. Once Sho is discovered to posess a powerful energy called 'Aura', he is drafted into the Byston Well conflict as an Arua Battler pilot.
Dunbine was a huge success and spawned several model and toys lines. While the animation prevents it from returning to the mainstream, the Aura Battler designs have kept the series timeless.

Azumanga Daioh

Azumanga Daioh is originally serialized in a very popular "Electric Shock Daioh" manga. The story revolves around high school girls. Each main character has a colorful and attractive personality for comic fans, such as gifted 10 years old high school girl, cool high school girl, natural high school girl, high school girl with glasses and weird older teachers.

Based on a four panel comic, each part is rather short at around five minutes. Each episode contain 5 parts making a total of 130 parts over 26 episodes. Azumanga Daioh also appeared as a short online movie, known as Azumanga Web Daioh. Apparently, they were also giving out free DVD of a short movie in March and April edition of Dengeki Daioh magazine.

Bakemonogatari

Bakemonogatari centers on Koyomi Araragi, a third year high school student who is almost human again after briefly becoming a vampire. One day, a classmate named Hitagi Senjougahara, who infamously never talks to anyone, falls down the stairs into Koyomi`s arms. He discovers that Hitagi weighs next to nothing, in defiance of physics. After being threatened by her, Koyomi offers her help, and introduces her to Meme Oshino, a middle-aged homeless man who helped him stop being a vampire.

In each chapter of the series, he encounters a different heroine, each involved with a different "apparition". The events of the previous chapters play an important role in the subsequent ones. The series primarily focuses on conversations between characters; it contains a fair number of parodies of other series, as well as Nisio Isin`s trademark wordplay and metahumor.

Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan Second

To add to the hilarity, Sabato, another assassin of the Rurutie order who uses her feminine wiles to do her jobs, is dispatched to complete Dokuro`s original mission: Sakura`s assassination.

Brain Powerd

In the not so distant future much of the earth has been submerged under the sea or destroyed by earthquakes. At the center of the turmoil is the mysterious Orphan. Orphan may or may not be the original cause of the cataclysms. Orphan`s goal is to raise a ship hidden deep beneath the sea to the surface, but doing so would result in the destruction of all humans except for the small number which are loyal to Orphan.
Orphan`s agents pilot mysterious mecha known as Grand Cheres, and search the world for mysterious, giant disks which occasionally appear, flying at high speeds and wrecking much of the countryside, or cities, when they hit the ground. After a dying disc almost kills Hime, a Brain Powerd is born from the disc. Brain Powerds are another type of Mecha, similar to but not the same as Grand Cheres.
Hime becomes the Brain Powerd`s pilot, forming a symbiotic relationship with the living mecha and joins an International Organization dedicated to stopping Orphan, or at the very least saving humanity should Orphan succeed.

Buso Renkin

Chrono Crusade

The story focuses mainly on Hasegawa Chaco, an Oizumi junior high school student who likes costume play, and Kosuke Tamiya, a costume play photographer who is trying his best every day to (?).
Nevertheless to say, she and her friends are members of a costume play club and they all get involved in so many hilarious events such as cosplay competition on episode 1 and cosplay seashore summer training camp on episode 2.

Cross Game

Cross Game is the story of Kou Kitamura and the four Tsukishima sisters, Ichiyo, Wakaba, Aoba, and Momiji. Cyber Coil

In this future, a mobile phone like technology has people wear special visors to superimpose coordinated, instant virtual images over the top of their everyday real world. This cyberspace layer, "space", interacts perfectly as you move about or touch things. It even allows children to have advanced Tamagotchi style cyberpets (very tidy!), or to make video calls using simple hand gestures alone.

However, something is happening in Daikoku which the adults have not yet noticed. Cyberpets go missing, dangerous spherical robots patrol the skies and a mysterious gigantic character named Satchii seems connected to it all.

When 6th grader Yasako moves to Daikoku to be with family, her beloved pet goes missing too, and she is drawn into the affairs of a `Cyberpet Recovery Agency` run by the local children.

Cyberteam in Akihabara

A "patapi" is a cute mechanical creature which is like a cyber pet. It can eat, sleep, play, and even help out its owners with some stuff. When Hibari Hanakoganei receives a patapi from a prince in her dreams, she is thrilled and names it "Densuke". When mysterious forces try to steal Densuke, Hibari discovers that Densuke is not just an ordinary patapi. Densuke has magical powers that allows it to transform into a powerful cyber-fighter who looks like Hibari. Hibari's friends also receive similar patapis, and together they form the Cyber Team in Akihabara.
