Zaion: I Wish You Were Here

In the future, a meteor crashes into Earth and brings with it a virulent form of life. This virus is known as M34 and attacks humans, turning them into vicious monsters. Most of the human population is wiped out, thus government agencies are formed to fight the virus. One of the groups, NOA, inserts nanomachines into the bodies of its soldiers; these machines allow them to transform and fight off the infected. Unfortunately, the virus mutates and becomes too strong for NOA to handle. Now the fate of the world rests in the hands of 16-year-old girl with the power to defeat the virus.

Zero no Tsukaima: Futatsuki no Kishi

Based on a series of light novels written by Yamaguchi Noboru and illustrated by Usatsuka Eiji.

Summary of Season 1:
"Hiraga Saito, just your average high-schooler, had just picked up his laptop from getting repaired, as a portal of some kind opened in front of him. Saito`s curiosity getting the better of him, he touched it and was sucked through. At first, Saito had no idea where he was, and was thoroughly disoriented. By accident he was summoned to another world by Louise Fran €™ €š ‚ §oise le Blanc de la Valli €™ €š ‚ ¨re, nicknamed "Zero Louise", a magician in training whose only ability was it to blow things up.

It turned out that she was in the process of summoning a familar when he appeared instead. In this world where only the nobility is able to use magic and everybody else belongs to the common folk, it was unheard before that a commoner became a familar to a noble. They had to obey the rules though and Saito became Louise`s familar while searching for a way back to his own world.

As Saito became accustomed to his new surroundings, he found out that in this world he had the powers of a Gandalfr, being able to use any weapon at will, while Louise had the power of void, the legendary lost fifth element. Together they helped Princess Henrietta of Tristania to fight off the invading Albion forces which came at a great cost."

The plot concerns womanising rock idol Koji Nanjo (tall, long blonde hair), who has just been re-united with the person he fell madly in love with six years ago on sight, Takuto Izumi (shorter, brown hair). Unfortunately, Koji had been informed that Izumi was a girl, when the truth is that he`s a boy, and a hostile, emotionally scarred boy at that. Naturally Koji is rather confused and it takes him a long time to come to terms with his feelings for Izumi. It takes Izumi longer still, partly because he is unsure of what he wants and partly because he doesn`t want to fall in love with anyone, let alone Koji, who he initially dislikes intensely. Even when they finally do reach some kind of understanding, there are other problems to deal with, such as Koji`s older brothers Hirose and Akihito, who are determined to split them up. Even those who do support them, including the insufferably cheerful Katsumi Shibuya, Koji`s best friend and Koji`s permanently anxious manager Toshiyuki Takasaka, cannot always be trusted to stay out of their affairs...

Zone of the Enders: Idolo

Z.O.E. 2167 Idolo will take place a few years prior to the events of the series Z.O.E Dolores,i, and is centered on the Deimos Incident, a terrorist action by the Mars revolutionaries.

The Buffram army pilots Radium and Viola are the best in their class, and as such have been chosen to spearhead testing on a new type of weapon, Mars hopes this weapon will liberate them from the Earth's tyranny, this new technology called the Orbital Frame is powered by an extreamly rare and powerfull source known as Metatron.

This ova depicts the Deimos incident and the story leading upto this incident, the pilot radium is sucked into the power complex of Metatron which makes him go from a nice guy to a blood thirsty maniac, but when earth finds out about this secret weapon, they assault the Mars reasearch base in an attempt to steal the orbital frame, during this raid the head scientist of development and Radium's girl friend Dolores are abducted, but the earth forces failed to capture the Idolo orbital frame, in an act of his love Radium races off to the Buffrum army orbital base to save Dolores and what ensued was what history would call the Deimos affair.

Also fans of the Playstation 2 game would recognise one of its main protagonists Viola.
